The Production System P-1 utilizes Desktop Metal's advanced Single Pass Jetting™ technology, developed specifically for high-speed metal binder jet additive manufacturing.

Rather than relying on slower point-by-point processing, the P-1 is engineered to rapidly spread powder and selectively deposit binder across the build area.

Depending upon material and process parameters, individual layers can be completed in only a few seconds, allowing the P-1 to achieve significantly higher productivity than many conventional metal additive manufacturing processes.

The system provides a native print resolution of 1,200 DPI, supporting detailed small components and complex geometries while maintaining high production rates.
