DESCRIPTION

Available for immediate sale is this Mitsubishi FA20 CNC Wire EDM, Model W21FA-2, a heavy-duty precision wire electrical discharge machining system designed for demanding toolroom, mold, die, aerospace, medical, precision machining, and production applications.

The Mitsubishi FA series has long been recognized for its rigid machine construction, precision motion control, reliable EDM power supply technology, and ability to perform highly accurate unattended wire EDM machining.

This FA20 provides a generous machining envelope with approximately 19.7" X-axis travel, 13.8" Y-axis travel, and 11.8" Z-axis travel, making it considerably more capable than many smaller wire EDM systems.

The machine is equipped with automatic wire threading, submerged machining capability, programmable U/V taper control, Mitsubishi CNC control, dielectric circulation and filtration system, and external cooling/chiller equipment.

The U/V taper system is capable of approximately ±1.25" travel, allowing tapered profiles and complex precision geometries to be produced.
