DESCRIPTION

Available for immediate sale is this Rapid-Air Model SS8-A Powered Stock Straightener, designed for straightening coil stock prior to stamping, roll forming, and other metal processing operations.

The Rapid-Air SS8-A is a heavy-duty powered straightener featuring an 8-inch straightening capacity, multiple precision straightening rolls, adjustable upper roll assembly, and variable speed drive for smooth and consistent material handling.

Included with the machine is the Rapid-Air Electronic Loop Control Stand, which automatically starts and stops the straightener to maintain the proper stock loop between the straightener and downstream equipment such as servo feeds or stamping presses. This allows continuous, hands-free operation while preventing excessive loop buildup or material starvation.

The machine has been tested and operates properly. Roll surfaces are in very good condition and the complete system is clean, mechanically sound, and ready for installation.

User agrees to indemnify and hold Seller harmless of and from any and all claims or liabilities from accidents involving these machines caused by failure of user, employees, or agents to follow instructions, warnings, or recommendations furnished by the manufacturer or Seller, or by failure to comply with Federal, State, and Local laws applicable to such equipment, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. User shall notify Seller promptly after the occurrence of any accident involving these machines and shall cooperate fully with Seller or Seller's agent in investigating and determining the cause of said accident.
