DESCRIPTION

Available for immediate sale is this Belmont Technologies Maxi-Cut CNC Sinker-Type Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) equipped with a 100-amp EDM power supply, programmable operator control, large dielectric work tank, hydraulic / powered machine functions, dielectric circulation and filtration system, and separate Belmont electrical / generator cabinet.

This is a substantial industrial die-sinking EDM designed for precision machining of hardened steels, tool steels, carbide, and other electrically conductive materials through the controlled electrical discharge machining process.

Unlike conventional machining, sinker EDM removes material through precisely controlled electrical discharges between a shaped electrode and the workpiece while submerged in dielectric fluid. This allows complex cavities, sharp internal features, deep forms, intricate geometries, and hardened materials to be machined without conventional cutting forces.

The machine incorporates a large T-slotted worktable within an enclosed dielectric tank, vertical EDM head, programmable machine control, gap voltage and working-current monitoring, dielectric flushing provisions, and a separate Belmont Technologies electrical / generator cabinet.
