We have powered up, operated, and tested this machine, and it is running and functioning properly.

This is considerably more than a basic hand-feed surface grinder. The MSG-250-2A incorporates automatic grinding functions that allow the operator to establish a grinding cycle and have the machine automatically control table movement, cross feed, and incremental wheel downfeed.

The control panel provides selectable Surface and Plunge grinding modes, continuous or incremental cross feed, automatic downfeed, rapid wheelhead elevation, hydraulic operation, coolant control, table interrupt/restart, and spark-out functions.

For production grinding, toolroom work, mold making, die work, gauge work, and precision manufacturing, these automatic functions can substantially reduce operator involvement compared with a conventional manual grinder.
