DESCRIPTION

Available for immediate sale is this IMS Company Model LP-49 Industrial Granulator, designed for beside-the-press and small-batch plastics size-reduction applications.

This is a compact, heavy-duty granulator featuring an approximately 7" x 7" feed opening, sound-deadened construction, 2 rotating cutting blades, 1 stationary bed knife, and a 1/4" diameter material screen.

The machine is equipped with a 2 HP Dayton industrial motor and is presently wired for 440 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hz operation.

A particularly nice feature of this machine is its sound-deadened construction, which helps reduce operating noise compared with conventional open-frame granulators. Its compact footprint and castered base make it well suited for placement alongside injection molding machines, extrusion lines, assembly operations, or other plastics processing equipment.

The lower cabinet contains a removable material collection bin, allowing processed material to be conveniently collected and removed.

This is a rugged American-made granulator with a very simple mechanical design, making it an excellent choice for runners, sprues, rejected molded parts, and general plastics recycling applications.

CONDITION

This IMS LP-49 granulator has been tested and is in good overall used industrial condition.

The machine appears complete and retains its factory cutting chamber, sound-deadened enclosure, material screen, electrical controls, collection bin, and drive system... runs smooth and strong.

The cutting chamber is equipped with the factory-style two rotating knife / one stationary knife configuration and currently has a 1/4" material screen installed.

The unit is presently configured for 440 Volt, 3 Phase power.

Normal cosmetic wear, scratches, paint wear, and signs of previous industrial use are present as shown in the photographs.
